Yahoo Search

See Who Links to a Particular Site

SUMMARY: Get a good idea of a web site's popularity rating by seeing who links to it.

Curious to see who links to a particular site? Use Yahoo! Search and enter a query in the following format:

link:http://WEBSITE_URL

For example, see who links to Google:

link:http://www.google.com

This will include internal links from Google webpages as well. So let's get rid of those:

link:http://www.google.com -site:google.com

Note that this only includes certain links from webpages indexed by Yahoo! Search and is not an exhaustive search of all links to a particular site on the web. However, this can provide a general idea of a site's popularity.
